Workplace Campaigns
Many Businesses in our Community make it easy for their employees to make an investment in United Way of Wayne County through a payroll deduction. Check with your employer to get details on how you can make a one-time, a weekly or monthly donation.
Now investing in our community through United Way of Wayne County is even more rewarding. To show our appreciation, United Way of Wayne County is offering you this chance to win a $10,000 Cash Prize.
To qualify for the Fair Share Challenge, it only takes a monthly investment (for 12 months) that is equal to 1 hour's pay per month or .6% of your annual salary (or more) to United Way of Wayne County. ** This is a sponsored incentive, no investor dollars are used in the Fair Share Challenge. United Wayne is a non-profit organization registered in North Carolina and exempt from federal income tax under Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. United Wayne will provide an IRS acknowledgment letter to all donors.

$10 Investment - $10 a month you can provide over ten hours of one-to-one literacy instruction for a Wayne County resident
$50 Investment - Provides for a boy or girl who lives in West Haven, Fairview, and Lincoln Apartments a safe place to be mentored into community citizens through Scouting programs. These Community Troops give the children the opportunity to build on their abilities to reach positive goals, identify their strengths and develop critical thinking skills through specific academic learning activities and STEM projects. Plus arts and crafts, trips and camping.
$100 Investment - Provides two families emergency assistance, food, clothing, shelter and referral services to help in recovery assistance.
