The Power to do Good!

The American Red Cross (ARC) now faces a severe blood shortage due to an unprecedented number of blood drive cancellations during this coronavirus outbreak. Healthy individuals are needed to donate now to help patients counting on lifesaving blood. ARC blood donation process is SAFE and fully complies with the CDC's guidelines for social distancing.  ARC check the temperatures of everyone entering a drive and deny entry to anyone with even the slightest fever.  Further, ARC liberally uses hand sanitizer at every stage in the process and have spaced our donation beds a minimum of six feet apart.

If you are healthy, schedule a @RedCross blood donation appointment: rcblood.org/appt

When you feel the most helpless, you actually have the POWER to do the most good.

As we move into social distancing and self-quarantine, it’s natural to feel isolated. Staying away from other people, though necessary, doesn’t fulfill our need to take action, to do something in the face of this crisis.

Fortunately, even in isolation, you can help the most vulnerable among us. Because we are never truly alone in our human community.
