2026 Governor's Volunteer Service Award
Nominations are now open for the 2026 Governor’s Volunteer Service Awards, a statewide program honoring North Carolina’s most dedicated volunteers. The award celebrates individuals and groups who make a lasting impact through their service to others.

Wayne County nominations are due by Friday, February 6, 2026, at 12:00 noon.
Nomination forms are available for pickup at United Way of Wayne County (309 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530) and emailed to pilar@unitedwayne.org or submitted online using the button below.
