Day of Action

Day of Action is an annual, network-wide initiative aimed at engaging volunteers to complete service projects that support our mission in education, financial stability, and health. Organized by United Way, it typically takes place on or around June 20th, the longest day of the year, to maximize daylight hours for volunteering. During this day, individuals, businesses, and organizations come together to volunteer and make a positive difference in their communities. Activities range from beautifying public spaces and mentoring youth to providing meals for the homeless and supporting local shelters.
